Background: Design Project 0 revolves around using available school resources to create a short term resolution for carpal tunnel syndrome. An occupational therapist has wrist orthosis, a device used to treat the condition, on back order and has therefore asked us to design a device that can be built by the school resources.

Brainstorming/Designing: I created two ideas and gave feedback to my group members to ultimately decide on one idea as a group. We then suggested materials to be used to achieve our functional device.

Overall, design project 0 gave me the opportunity to be resourceful, gain teamwork skills, and learn about carpal tunnel syndrome.
